Tom Voorhis

Tom is a married father of three college students and is based in Rhinebeck, NY. He manages sales in New York from Orient Point to Buffalo, Connecticut and Vermont. His higher education is from Ball State University and was continued at Butler University.

Tom brings a wealth of experience having been a Framer, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. Tom also served as Construction Manager for Henry G. Meier, FAIA, and in the same capacity at Baize Engineering. Tom is also a HUD approved Cost and Architectural analyst. He entered sales as Sales Manager for a three store family owned lumberyard chain in central Indiana.

Tom spent 20 years with P & R Truss, later to become Universal Forest Products, as Account Manager, Truss and Engineered Wood Designer, Senior Account Manager, Manager of Engineered Wood Products, Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager.

Tom rejoined the former owners of P & R Truss at ideal Stair Parts in 2016 as New England Sales Manager. He continued in this position once Ideal was purchased by Coffman Stair Parts in 2024. Transitioning to Coffman’s manufacturer’s representative group in mid-2024, Tom brought his broad construction knowledge, sales experience and relationships to Sales Force One.
